The Top 5 AirBnb’s on our Bucket List!
There’s hardly anyone who enjoys travelling that hasn’t heard of (or tried) AirBnB! People around the globe offer rooms, entire accommodations and sometimes even just a simple bed to others. There are no limits on expenses when choosing AirBnB. Regardless of if you’re a low budget backpacker & on the hunt for cheap accommodation or you want to be on the more luxury side of things, AirBnB offers it all!
We decided to assemble our personal favourites in our Airbnb Bucket List to hopefully give you all some inspiration for your next stay! How many will you cross off your list?
The Joshua Tree House
Joshua Tree, CA | @thejoshuatreehouse
The Joshua Tree House is a two bed two bath 1949 hacienda in the heart of Joshua Tree National Park. This is a place for dreamers to reset, reflect, and create. Designed with a ‘slow’ pace in mind. It is owners, Sara & Rich’s hope that you enjoy every part of your stay; from making local coffee by drip in the morning, choosing the perfect record to put on as the sun sets, or by relaxing in the hot tub surrounded by over 100 Joshua Trees and a starry night sky.
The Atlanta Treehouse
Atlanta, GA | @treehouseatl
Earlier this year, Airbnb named the Atlanta Treehouse as the Most Wished-For Listing in the world – and for good reason. Owner Peter Bahouth designed the tree house is an ode to the rough-hewn hideout he had as a kid. This unique retreat is made up of three separate areas connected by rope bridges: the living room with 80 year old butterfly-filled windows, a balcony overlooking an acre of lush woods and a bedroom with a pillow-top double bed that can be wheeled out onto an outdoor platform!
Selat, Bali, Indonesia | @hideoutbali
The Hideout was built and handcrafted in 2015 by the support of many local Balinese workers. It is a unique eco stay for adventurous travellers, hidden in mountains of Gunung Agung volcano. The all-bamboo house is situated at beautiful river side among rice fields. Get off the grid and experience authentic life of Balinese village!
Dome in the Desert
Joshua Tree, CA | @domeinthedesert
The Dome provides guests unparalleled views of the night sky and a cozy home to relax in with acres of private land surrounding it. In addition to the serenity of the location, guests of the AirBnb are treated to fresh juice from a local juicer while they enjoy the home’s natural wood burning fireplace!
Treehouse Blue Mountains
This one is a little closer to home for all our Aussie YoHomies! Fancy staying amongst 600 acres of private wilderness in the Blue Mountains in a treehouse? This secluded accommodation offers just that for a back-to-nature experience in style, nestled between 2x National Parks & World Heritage listed rain-forest!
